About 8 miles west of our Gainesville base, between Gainesville and Newberry. Jonesville is a mix of older rural country homes and newer subdivisions, with the housing stock changing fast along the Newberry Road corridor.
Housing stock, landmarks, and the kinds of jobs that come up most often here.
A mix of older country homes on larger lots and newer subdivisions. Less master-planned than Tioga or Haile, less rural than Archer. Mostly single-family. Several newer developments along Newberry Road bring suburban construction patterns into a previously rural area. Both wood and Hardie-style siding are represented.
Exterior repaints across the mix of housing types, interior refresh work for new owners, and fence staining for the more rural properties on larger lots.
Some Jonesville homes are rural country builds on 5+ acre lots. Some are 2010s subdivision homes off Newberry Road. The paint systems and prep we use differ accordingly: rural older homes often need more wood-substrate work; newer subdivision homes are usually a straighter exterior job. We adjust per home rather than running a one-size-fits-all approach. The walkthrough is where we figure out which version of Jonesville your house belongs to.
