Seam tape over joints, three coats of joint compound, each sanded before the next goes on.

Feather and sand

The "invisible repair" standard
A good drywall patch you can only find by looking for it under raking light at the right angle. A bad one you can spot from across the room. The difference is how many coats of mud, how aggressively the edges feather out, and whether the texture matches. We feather at least 8 to 12 inches past the patch on most repairs, wider for larger ones. That is why a 4-inch hole takes us half a day instead of an hour. The math is the same on every wall.

01Can you match my wall texture?
Yes. Knockdown, orange peel, smooth, hand-troweled. We can re-create most common wall and ceiling textures, and we practice on scrap first when it is unusual.
02Do you do ceiling drywall?
Yes. Cracks, water damage, popcorn texture removal or matching. Heavy ceiling damage with sagging may need framing work; we flag that on the walkthrough.
03Will the patch be visible after paint?
If we prep correctly, no. Patch plus texture match plus primer plus topcoat equals invisible under normal light. Bright raking light from a window can still expose poor patches; ours hold up to that test.
04Can you do drywall without painting after?
Yes. We leave it primed and ready to paint, or you can have us roll over it with the next paint job.
05What about big projects, like full wall removal?
We handle most patches up to wall-section size. Full-room demo and rebuild we may refer to a framing carpenter for the rough-in, then we come back for finish work.
06Do you do small drywall patches, or only big repairs?
Both. A single nail hole, a doorknob dent, or one cracked seam is worth a visit. Small jobs are most economical bundled, though, so if you have a list of little repairs around the house, group them and we handle them in one trip.
07How fast can you patch a hole in a wall?
A small hole is often a same-day repair, but it is not instant. The patch, tape, mud, and texture each need drying time between coats, so most hole repairs run from part of a day to a couple of days depending on the size and the texture match. We give you the realistic timeline in the quote.
08Do you fix settling cracks in walls and ceilings?
