Scope

Everything in the scope.

What gets covered in every interior job. Itemized, in writing, before we start.

01

Surface prep

Filling, sanding, caulking, and spot-priming so the paint has a clean substrate to bond to.

02

Two coats, line-laid

Cut to corners and trim with a brush before rolling. Two coats minimum on every wall.

03

Trim, doors, and baseboards

Brushed separately in a higher sheen after walls. Included when scoped.

04

Furniture moved and replaced

We shift what is reasonable, paint behind it, put it back where we found it.

05

Daily cleanup

Drop cloths folded, floors swept, trash hauled at the end of every day.

Coverage

Every room, every surface

Interior painting is rarely just "walls." Real interior jobs touch walls, ceilings, trim, doors, baseboards, sometimes closets and door interiors. Here is what a typical scope covers across the home:

  • Living and dining: walls, ceilings, crown molding
  • Bedrooms: walls, ceilings, closet interiors if requested
  • Kitchens: walls only by default (cabinet refinishing is a separate service)
  • Bathrooms: bath-rated paint for moisture and steam
  • Hallways and stairwells: walls and ceilings
  • Trim, doors, baseboards across the home in a higher sheen

Frequently asked

Questions, answered.

01How long does a typical interior paint job take?
Most single rooms wrap in a day. A whole-floor interior runs 2 to 4 days; a full-house interior with ceilings, walls, doors, and trim is usually 3 to 5 days. We give you an exact timeline in writing before we start.
02Do you move furniture?
Yes. We shift what is reasonable to one side of the room, paint, replace it. For large rooms we work in halves so you can still use the space while we are there.
03What paint do you use?
Quality name-brand interior paints, picked for the surface, the use of the room, and how much wear it will see. We walk through brand and sheen choices with you (flat for ceilings, eggshell or satin for walls, semi-gloss for trim) so you know exactly what is going on your walls.
04Can you paint over wallpaper?
Sometimes. If the wallpaper is well-adhered we can prime over it. If it is peeling or bubbled we usually recommend removing first. We tell you which on the walkthrough.
05Do you handle ceiling repairs?
Cracks, water stains, popped nails, and small drywall fixes yes. See Drywall Repair for the standalone service. Larger structural ceiling damage may need a specialist; we flag it on the walkthrough.
06Can you paint just one room, like a bedroom or living room?
Yes. We take single-room jobs and most wrap in a day. Bedroom painting in Gainesville, living room painting, and dining room painting are some of our most common requests, whether you want a refresh in the same color or a full change. We move what is reasonable, paint behind it, and put it back where we found it.
07Do you paint bathrooms?
Yes. For bathroom painting in Gainesville we use bath-rated paint built for moisture and steam so it does not peel or grow mildew over a shower. Walls, ceiling, trim, and the inside of the door all get covered when scoped.
08Can you paint ceilings on their own?
Yes. Ceiling painting in Gainesville is something we handle as part of a room repaint or as a standalone job. Flat ceiling paint hides roller lines and minor imperfections, and we cut clean along the wall and crown so the line reads sharp.
